Nigerian and Canadian Business Network

Mentorship Program

OVERVIEW

Linking emerging entrepreneurs and professionals with established entrepreneurs and senior leaders, the Women’s Business Network’s Mentorship Program is a space to foster connection, gain insights, and build community. The program allows for WBN members to develop professionally as mentees, and for mentors, to share their experience, knowledge/skills, and expand their networks.

How the program works

Mentees take part in one-on-one mentorship sessions, group discussions and workshops. This year, we will be further refining our matching process to ensure that best fit for our mentors and mentees based on goals, interests, experience and sector. The program will take place over 6 months from September to February, followed by another cohort starting up for January to June, and will include a mix of virtual and in-person events.

Role of a mentor

We are looking for seasoned entrepreneurs and professionals who can bring value to members seeking guidance in their personal and professional lives. Mentors will equally benefit from the program through refreshers, exposure to fresh perspectives and the chance to network with others across the WBN.
